When I came up with the idea of studying art photography at the Munich Fine Art Academy (2010), I already had been working as a press photographer in Vienna with my own clientele. Born in Kazakhstan, trained actually as an organ player, I initially switched to graphic design and then to photography. The ability of visual media to quickly turn ideas into reality suited me as a person. I like switching between genres at any time, as well as between commissioned photography and freelance projects, especially because the boundaries in the aesthetics of the genres are often not clearly defined.
Working at freelance projects regularly is still important for me.
Since the post-Corona period, I have been honored to work as a freelance contract photographer for the Austrian daily newspaper “Die Presse" and tabloid newspaper AUGUSTIN. They are often short encounters with exciting stories behind them, and I am also happy to see my photos published regularly.
Born in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Studied in Moscow, Vienna and Munich. Lives and works as photographer in Vienna.
Focus: art and business portraits, photojournalism.

2010 – Gold Medal of Excellence at the Trierenberg Super Circuit.
2014 – Graduation at the Fine Art Academy Munich, Germany.

2020 – 2nd prize in the photo competition "Social Distancing & Empty Spaces" for "Portraits mit A(n)bstand", Pasinger Fabrik Munich, Germany

2021 – awarded in the photo competition "Mensch – Arbeit – Handicap", the project of BWG Germany (Berufsgenossenschaft für Gesundheitsdienst und Wohlfahrtspflege)
Since 2023 – freelance photographer for the APA (AUSTRIA PRESSE AGENTUR)
